Education that Inspires
I want kids to go to school because they enjoy learning so much. I want each student to have enough experiences to discover what they really enjoy doing in life and allow them to figure out a way to make a living doing it. I want students to believe in things that seem impossible and strive to make them happen. “The important thing is never to stop questioning.” Albert Einstein

Inspired
Welcome to my blog! I am a graduate student earning a Master's degree in school counseling at Assumption College in Worcester, MA. I will be chronicling my studies to become a guidance counselor and working through my ideas for how we can dramatically improve education for all our students - a task terribly overdo. I hope you'll join my conversations and contribute to the process of creating school systems that support every child's dreams to succeed.
I plan to spend a life-long career in education - as a school counselor, education reformer, and eventually as a teacher. Some people think that my ideas are too optimistic, naive, and even impossible.
Thank you for reading my blog and I look forward to our discussions.
I plan to spend a life-long career in education - as a school counselor, education reformer, and eventually as a teacher. Some people think that my ideas are too optimistic, naive, and even impossible.
- First, I welcome this reaction because it only energizes me further.
- Second, someone has to believe that the impossible is, indeed, possible.
- Third, true education reform will take years, probably decades - and this is the reason to start as soon as possible, not to make excuses about politics, the public, the educations system or whatever reason you choose.
Thank you for reading my blog and I look forward to our discussions.
